Beach Trip 2012

This year Brad and I decided we would go on a beach trip by ourselves, something we have never done before! It was probably my favorite trip!

We ate at some really yummy places and some "so so" places!

Brad and I hung out at the bar Tootsies every night, and that is were we meet such a sweet couple, Kate and Jake.
Kate and Jake were so sweet, we automatically bonded... we hung out on the beach and played Pirate putt putt (which was really fun) and ate the best restaurant  in Panama City Beach the Boatyard.

The Boatyard was on the bay, and all their fish is what they buy from the local fishermen. The atmopshere, food, and wonderful band I can not choose my favorite thing about it. It was so relaxing to leave the upbeat Pier Park and enjoy supper on the bay, without feeling rushed to eat and leave for the next "party".

The last day at the beach Brad and I relaxed and suntanned untill it got dark. We tried to soak up as much sun and sand as possible. For supper our last night we decided to just drive on the back side of the beach till we found a "hole in the wall" to eat at.......well it was a bad choice. We ate at Billy's Oyster Bar. I think we just ordered the WRONG thing on the menu! So waffle house was our saver at 2am when we were starving!

I enjoyed a whole weekend with Brad. We don't get much time together since I am in nursing school, work ALL the time, and have constant clinicals! I love being around him, he just simply makes me happiest!

Finally Legal...21st Birthday!

YAY!! It is FINALLY my turn to have my 21st birthday! I am so thankful for my great family, friends, and work family! It think I ended up celebrating for 2 weeks!!

July 25, 2012 is the year I have been looking towards since I graduated high school!
To me it was not just being able to buy beer or order a drink at a dinner, it is that I am actually old enough to go and do whatever I want. I don't have to worry about who's fake ID I was borrowing for the night or not being able to hang out with my friends since they were at the casino. NOW I HAVE NO WORRIES!

My birthday was lucky enough to be on the day of my last nursing exam, but my wonderful classmates surprised me with a sweet card!

My family birthday didn't go so much as planned my cake was ruined and the time was pressed but after my negative attitude, I started to realize how lucky I am to be able to spent it with my grandparents, my parents ( my dad was home, it was his bday also) and my sisters! They made the best of my birthday as much as they could!

My BIG birthday weekend was spent the right way...on the Plains (AKA Auburn) I celebrated with dinner at Mikata's with all my closest friends and Brad. It was Delish (as always) Then we did it big at Sky Bar to watch Fly by Radio (which was great)!

After my big celebration it doesn't stop my great co-workers threw me a surprise party. (I love them)

I have to say this birthday definitely has been to the best by far! I am so thankful for all the special people in my life that made it so GREAT!

The Busiest Summer-2012

Its been awhile since I wrote. Summer 2012 has been a super busy. Between my 1st upper level nursing class, my (new) full time job as a MST (again), and trying to have a social life I don't know how I balanced it all!

Nursing school this summer was stressful, busy, although I started to actually feel like a nurse! It was such an achievement.

I made the decision this summer to start working back full time as a MST and NIGHT SHIFT! I had such mix emotions about working full time and going to school full time. At 1st it was kinda rocky balancing the crazy hours with no sleep, high patient volume, and not ever seeing my Brad. It took a few weeks to figure out how to make it work, I am just thankful for my great co-workers that work with my crazy clinical schedule!

My small chance of a social life was a great chance. I hit the lake as much as I possibly could! There is nothing more relaxing than riding the pontoon on beautiful lake martin! It didn't get to go much but when I did go I made the best trip out of it! Lake all day Sinclair's at night is the best way to do it big.

At the time I didn't think that my summer was going to turn out good since it was not like my typical summer breaks but It was a great BUSY summer!
